"Tag & Brag", our pride and joy, is a 36ft purpose built catamaran type vessel that we use to do all our expeditions from to Seal Island in False Bay.
She is a SAMSA registered vessel, (South African Maritime Safety Authority) equipped with a 15-man life-raft, all the necessary safety equipment, registered for 12 passengers plus three crew, top end electronic equipment, a flush marine toilet, sleeping bunks for those who perhaps get sea-sick, a wide open aft-deck, wide safe walk-arounds with high stainless railings and hand-holds for safety, leading to a flat user-friendly bow viewing area and a fantastic viewing platform perched high, accessible from the Fly-bridge area for a 360 degree birds-eye view.
- She has an almost 16ft beam which ensures stability on the water.
- She is powered by 2 x 200hp outboard engines with very low emissions and cruises comfortably with full load at 20 knots.
- She is the ultimate expedition boat for photographers, documentary film teams and passengers alike.
- She can be registered for 25 passengers, BUT... our policy is one of, "We don't want our expeditions to be commercialized", and therefore the low maximum carrying capacity of only 12 passengers at a time for comfort and a MUCH more personal experience.
